Zeke Progress and a Metroid Necklace!

Hey guys! Not too much to show this week since I was bogged down with a lot of other projects, but I can at least show you the progress on Zeke!:

I got his water gun uzi (oh man I need one!) completed as well as his left arm. I should have the rest of his shirt and the start of his face done for next week!

I also was able to whip up this little project; a Screw Attack logo from Metroid!:

I cross stitched it onto 14 ct plastic canvas and then back-stitched it onto black fleece with dark purple thread. I am pretty happy with how it came out and am surprised I haven't made one of these yet!

Next week I'll be making a Kirby necklace (with glow-in-the-dark thread!), and something to do with PSO and their Section I.D.'s along with more work on Zeke. The week after I should be freed up to make more projects, so look forward to more to come in the near future!

Knuckles, Crystal Castles, Zeke, and more!

Hey guys! My update for this week is pretty random, but hopefully you'll find it rad as well. Here's Knuckles completed:

(He's still missing his gold keyring, so I don't consider him finished, but it's about as close as I can get without having it yet haha.)

A Crystal Castles necklace that I whipped up:

Bentley Bear is cross stitched onto plastic canvas, and the gems he's going after are made out of mini hama beads!

Next is my Tenda from EarthBound finally completed!:

If you guys that have followed me for a long time remember, I have made Mr. Saturn and Jeff needlepoints, and this is my third completed in that series. I don't know who'll be next, but I want to keep it random :D

Last but not least is my progress on Zeke from Zombies Ate My Neighbors:

He's not as far along as I'd like, so I'm going to spend most of next week working on him instead of smaller projects, but I'm still happy with how he's turning out!

I also have a few commissions to finish up next week, and I'll also be working on plushie patterns because I want to get some Chrono Trigger plushie started. Anywhoo, I hope to see you then, and hope you liked this week's randomness! <3

Yoshi's Cookie & Scott Pilgrim!

Hey everyone! Here are my latest projects from last week that I created:

Scott Pilgrim necklaces!

And a Yoshi's Cookie charm bracelet!

I was originally intending the Scott Pilgrim ones to be a charm bracelet too, but they turned out to be way too big, so I decided to turn them into necklaces :) I'm very happy with how they turned out and will probably be making more Scott Pilgrim stuff in the near future!

Next week will be a Knuckles from Sonic & Knuckles key chain (hanging off a gold keyring!), more work on Zeke, and a suprise project ;) See you then!

Bubble Bobble & Yoshi's Island!

Hey guys!

Sorry it's been so long, but I got back from my trip last week and have been working ever since. Here are some of the things I can finally show you since they've been sent out and are no longer surprises for people!

These are some projects I made for my friends over at The Continue? Show! You can check out their YouTube Channel here: Continue?

They are really funny guys so check out their stuff! Also at the end of their current episode (Apocalypse) they show these guys off! It's a magnet of a Moogle from Final Fantasy, a Mega Man pin, a Master Key and Master Sword necklace from Zelda, and an Ice Hockey player keychain from the NES game Ice Hockey!

Up next is a Dratini necklace commission that turned out rad!:

Buzz Buzz from EarthBound Necklace

Hey there!

In between a few larger projects, I made this necklace of Buzz Buzz from EarthBound!:

It's kinda a joke because he's so tiny in the game, but he's also one of my all time favorite characters.

He's cross stitched onto 22 ct aida cloth, then the background was painted with thinned out acrylic, and finally glued into a resin setting. I'm pretty happy with how he came out!

I have another small necklace project coming up very soon that I'll post (Mario Bros 3 themed!) so look forward to that, and I'll also be sure to post those larger projects as soon as they become more complete :) See you guys soon!

NES TMNT Michaelangelo Necklace

Hey guys! Just wanted to post real quick a small (and I mean very small!) project I made last night. It's a necklace of Michaelangelo from the NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game!:

It was my first time cross stitching on 22 ct aida, and you can see how tiny he turned out! I really liked working with it though, and I plan on making a few more necklaces this way.

Also up next I'm going to be cross stitcing on 14 ct plastic canvas, this selection screen image of Raiden from Mortal Kombat!:

8-bit Key!

Hey guys!

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. Here's a project that I finished a little while back, and finally got pictures of today! It's the key from Super Mario Bros 2, on a keychain:

This is a project that I had been meaning to start for years (if any of you guys remember my 8-bit mini hama keys, then you'll remember how long ago that really was!), and I'm glad to finally have at least one finished product! It's made out of plastic canvas, and cross stitched with DMC thread.

I am also going to be making keychains out of other video game's keys and will have them posted asap. See you soon :D

Final Fantasy's Black Mage charm!

Hey guys! I just finished a charm of a Black Mage from the Final Fantasy series:

It's a P-Wing from Super Mario Bros 3, and a Space Invader! They're both about an inch and a half, and were made out of DMC thread, 14ct. plastic canvas, and sewn to fleece backings for a screen cleaner. Hope you guys like them!

Super Mario Bros. 2 Heart Necklace!

Hey guys! Just wanted to post a quick pic of a necklace I made today. It's one of the hearts from Super Mario Bros. 2!:

As usual it's made out of mini hama beads and I also made the necklace chain myself. I'm really liking making custom length chains now. It's really nice to be able to pick what kind of clasp you want and which length is perfect for each individual charm :)

I'm still in the middle of working on some more phone straps and keychains which will be completed in the next couple of days (I'm going to the store to pick up more supplies tomorrow!). I should be posting them soon. See you then!

Mega64 project!

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while D: I'm in the middle of a move, so posts are going to be kinda erratic for a bit.

I wanted to give you a quick update as to a rather large cross stitching project I had been working on for my friends over at Mega64!:

I was finally able to finish their logo and give it to the guys at PAX Prime, so I can finally show it now that it isn't a suprise anymore haha.

Anywhoo, if you don't know the hilarity that is Mega64, you should head over to mega64.com asap and check out some of their videos and video game sketches. (I highly recommend the Paper Boy one!)

As for what's coming up next, I have been doing a lot of cross stitching on to plastic canvas to make phone straps and keychains out of, in the downtime of moving (along with playing waaaaaay too much Persona 3 on the PSP haha). I will try to post pics of some of them soon, along with selling a few at my Etsy store.

Mr. Saturn EarthBound Shirt!

Hey guys! Just wanted to give a quick update on something I made the other day. I used water soluble canvas and cross stitch for the first time to stitch on to a shirt! I'm pretty happy with the results:

They're a couple of Mr. Saturns from EarthBound on a red shirt of mine. Hope you like them! :D I plan on stitching something of the Pokemon variety onto a green zip up I have, so I'll post those results when I can.

Hey guys! I'm pretty busy with finishing up some projects before PAX so sorry for not updating in a while.

I'll soon be posting some work for myself, which are going to be Animal Crossing hair clips! I'm thinking of making each of the flowers in the game that you can put in your hair. I'll either be cross stitching them onto plastic canvas, or using mini hama beads, but we'll see :P Keep an eye out! See you soon :D

Wood Man Keychain ♥

Here's the finished product of my Wood Man (from Mega Man) keychain!:

He was made just like my Ness pin, only this time I sewed green fleece on the back and used green thread as contrast stitching when I attatched it to him.

I'm working on a pretty large cross stitching project that will hopefully be done in a couple weeks; other than that, I'm sure I'll have something small posted up here in a few days again haha. See you guys soon!

Zelda hearts necklace & Ness pin!

Here's my newest necklace, hearts from Zelda strung together:

They were made out of mini hama beads and I custom made the actual chain. I'm pretty happy with the result! I also worked on a Ness from EarthBound pin:

I cross stitched onto plastic canvas then sewed it to fleece backing so that I could attatch the pin. I'm really happy with how he turned out, and will definitally be using plastic canvas again for pins!

I'm currently working on finishing up some huge projects I started forever ago, but I should be updating again soon with a few smaller projects in the works. See you all soon!

Hi again guys! Sorry it took an eon to get back on here, and with not much to show for it either haha. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am working on my Mega Man rug (still...I know!), and starting up a small Metroid one! I'll be able to update with some pics once I find my camera charger -_- In the meantime, here's the sprite I'm working off of to give you an idea!:

I'm also working on a "secret" cross stitching project for some friends that can't be revealed until the end of April, but I swear I'll post that one as soon as I can!

Sagat & a Convention Announcement!

This one came together rather quickly and I'm very happy with him!

He's actually made out of about 90% Photo Pearl beads (yet another fuse bead company that has even more variations of color!), and the rest is Perler. I'm so happy with how his coloring came out, and he's the project I'm the most proud of so far. :D I hope you like him!

Another big thing that's going to be happening soon for me, is I am going to be selling things at a table at EXPCon in St. Augustine, FL the weekend of October 8-10th! If you're in the area, come check it out and be sure to stop by and say hello! I'm really looking forward to it.

Iori Perler Project and Updates!

Hey everyone! It's been a long time! I have been very busy, and my camera decided to die on me, so I finally got my new one a couple days ago :D

Here's the largest project I have been working on recently, Iori from King of Fighters:

I had to alter the original sprite and colors a lot to get it to look okay, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome!

I also made a Wall-Nut barrette from Plants vs Zombies!:

I designed the sprite myself and am pretty happy with that as well. I want to make a lot of the other plants, but had to make the Wall-Nut first, since he's my favorite :D

And another random little thing I've made is a magnet of Blanka from Street Fighter 2!:

Because of a limiting color palette with the mini hama beads, I had to change his colors a bit from the original sprite, but I like it a lot. I plan on making all the character selection portraits from the game and will take a picture once they are all done and up on the fridge!

I am pretty busy as of late, but will post an update on upcoming projects as soon as I can. Up next should be this sprite of Sagat in perler form (just like Iori and Cammy):

New Mega Man Rug Progress!

Hey everyone!

I just got back from vacation and haven't been up to much yet, but I do have a new progress shot to show you of some of the red background sewn into my Mega Man Rug!:

It will still take me forever to get him completely made, but hey, at least I'm slowly getting there lol.

Anywhoo, I'm going to be shopping this weekend for some needlepoint supplies and will be making a four part project with that. I also have re-ironed my perler bead Kirby's Adventure "MIX" sign, and am much happier with it, so I will be posting a pic of that shortly. Stay tuned :D

Atropos from Chrono Trigger stitching!

Here's a small stitching I completed today of Atropos from Chrono Trigger (Robo's Girlfriend):

I'm soon going to put them both in a frame together, and am also eventually planning on stitching the "good ending" scene of them sitting together on the cliff.

Well here's the guy I was talking about making after Cammy; Kyosuke Kagami from the game Rival Schools! Here he is so far:

I'm still deciding if I want to make a background or anything for him (and actually have some done), but I'm leaning toward keeping him this way. Either way I should have an update tomorrow with him ironed and completed!

Cammy Perler Bead Project!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give a quick update on what you'll be seeing next from me. I am going to be starting on a large Perler Bead project of Cammy from Street Fighter! The sprite I'm working off of comes from the game Capcom vs. SNK: Card Fighter's Clash. And here it is:

She will turn out to be the same size as my earlier Ibuki project, which is a little over a foot tall. I should be updating in the next couple days with some progress!

Also I wanted to say thank you to Capcom for showing my work and writing that lovely article about me! What a pleasant suprise, and I'm very glad that so many people like what I've done so far :D Also to everyone that has followed my blog for a while, and any newcomers, thank you! You guys are great!!!

Mega Man rug competed (stage 1)!

He's finally all sewn together!

And here's a shot with a DVD case for size comparison!:

He's a little over 3 ft tall, and 3 ft wide (arm to arm). I will be updating randomly once I get some of the red added to him for the background (and those little ends tucked in eventually), but knowing my track record with sticking to a project, it may be a while lol. Either way I'm happy that he himself is completed!

Up next I'll be working on the Onett map again, and I'm sure many, many random things along the way ;)

Mega Man rug progress (finally!)

Hey guys!

After taking a break with making my Mega Man rug that took forever, here's a quick shot of progress since I finally started working on it again this week!

Most of him is finally sewn together, I just have his left arm and top of his head to go! I have only been working on him again for a few days now, so I should be completely done with Mega Man himself by this weekend. Then comes the awesome task of crocheting all the rest of the red squares to fill in the background xD Oh well!

I should have an updated and completed picture of Mega Man posted sometime this weekend! See you then :D

Hey everyone! Here's a couple more barrettes I've made the past week. Hope you like them!:

Here's a Hello Kitty bow from her Famicom game, which I doctored up a bit! I plan on making her sister's yellow bow as soon as I get my new shipment of beads in :D

Here's a big Metroid which I kind of designed to be a combo of the NES & SNES Metroid.

Here's a Bad Dude from the NES game Bad Dudes! (If I haven't done the stitching yet, at least I have this in the meantime lol).

And last but not least, Bub from Bubble Bobble! I plan on making many more Bubble Bobble characters and items in the future, so keep a look out for that :D

Left 4 Dead Bill portrait!

Hey everyone! It's been a long time! I have been working on some commissions lately, and here's the latest one I have finished, Bill from Left 4 Dead in 8-bit portrait form!:

I have also been working on my Mega man rug of course, and here's another progress shot of that:

I haven't gotten much farther yet on it because I have been doing mostly commission stuff, but now that I have a little break, I should get a lot more done quicker!

Also in the near future I am going to start working on a map of Onett from Earthbound for myself! It's going to be a huge project and take a long time to finish, but I'm really looking forward to it. Here's a screenshot of it so you can get an idea of what's involved:

It's going to turn out to be about 19" x 17" when it's done! I will be updating you all on that and everything else asap!

Mega Man rug progress!

All I have left are his legs and allll that red background lol. It'll still take a while, but it's good that it's moving along :D

Donkey Kong Country 2 stitching completed!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the short absence, but I'm finally done with my DKC2 commission piece! Here it is:

I think it came out well, and man was it a challenge to stitch that many colors into such small characters! There were 25 seperate thread colors in each Kong, so it was pretty crazy to figure out what went where lol.

Also, I have a new progress shot for my Mega Man rug, which I will be posting asap! I hope everyone has a great weekend, and next week I'll also be announcing a new (non-video game related!) rug I'll be making. See you soon :D

Hi everyone!

Here's a quick update on my Mega Man rug. I have crocheted some more squares and layed them out on the floor to give you a better idea of what it'll look like after being sewn together:

As you can see I got some of the red background started and part of his arm. I got a looooot of red to go lol. Also originally I thought it was going to turn out about double the size of the Chocobo rug, but I was wrong! It's actually going to be much larger at around 4 ft long and 3 ft wide xD. So I will be using this sucker as an area rug in my living room after it's completed lol.

I will be mostly working on the DKC2 stitching the next couple of days so I can finish that up, and I should have some more progress on the rug later this week!

Hi there! I just realized that I never put up on my blog the Chocobo from Final Fantasy 1, rug that I made for someone for spritestitch.com's craft swap! Here's the final result:

I thought about it because in between working on the DKC2 commission I'm making, I have been crocheting squares to make my own Mega Man rug! It's going to be about twice the size of the Chocobo rug, and here's a quick picture of some of the squares layed out on the floor just to give you an idea, also with my 360 controller:

So as you can see, like I said, it'll turn out muuuuuch bigger than the Chocobo one! I will update asap with the DKC2 stitching hopefully completed, and more progress on the MM rug! :D

Pokemon stitchings!

Hello everyone! I have been doing a couple smaller projects recently before I get back to taking up commissions again :D These two are both Pokemon themed, and I plan on making many more Pokemon stitchings in the future :) Check out this one I just completed of Swampert!

I believe the original sprite came from the Pokemon Pinball game, but I'm not too sure. Either way, it's one of the coolest Pokemon poses I have ever seen xD I also plan on stitching a few more from that sprite series, and up next for me should be Seviper!

This was for a very good friend's belated birthday present which is still in the mail as I type this xD I hope he likes it when he gets it :D

Up next is the start of everyone's commissions again! I just ordered a bunch more Mini Hama Beads for necklaces, and I should have up posted pictures of an NES Link necklace, and a Kokiri Emerald necklace which I made a sprite for based off of the Nintendo 64 game Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Hi all! And Wow! It's been a really long time since I have updated D: I have mostly been working on a big project for spritestitch.com's Craft Swap, which I cannot show on here (since the person getting the project may see it!), so I have had little to update with.

That is until I finally got my order of Mini Hama Beads in the mail! :D Here are some of the little 8-bit necklaces that I have made the past few days:

Ghostbusters NES screenshot completed!

Hey guys! Here's a finished shot of the Ghostbuster's NES ending:

I can't get too good of a picture of it in natural light, so after I get a frame for it sometime today, I will update with a much nicer shot of it :) It's 12" x 16" right now, so I'll probably have to cut it down to fit in a frame. I just want to make sure it still looks "screenshotty" so I'm going to have to scan the store for the best set-up lol.

I have a few other projects coming up soon, and I'm also going to be trying out needlepoint with the Tetris "castle":

Robo from Chrono Trigger ♥

Hello everyone!

Here's a quick stitching that I did today of Robo from Chrono Trigger (yeah, I love Chrono Trigger! lol). I had been meaning to do this forever, I'm so glad I finally did. Robo is my favorite character, and I have never stitched him...go figure lol.

Also, I figured I would update you on my commission-taking schedule. I am taking about a month and a half off to work on my own projects, a craft swap, and a project for a close friend. Frog from Chrono Trigger blanket ♥

Hello everyone! Here's a quick update on something that I am going to be working on for a veeeery long time, lol. I'm crocheting a blanket of Frog from Chrono Trigger. I need to make 290 squares, and I have about 30ish made. It's going to take a while, but I'm really having fun making it, since this is my first attempt at crochet. Here are some of the squares so far, layed out so you can kind-of see what he will look like when sewn together:

He's gonna turn out to be about 7 ft tall :O Next time I will take a picture with some size refrence, because this thing is huge!

Hey there! Here's the final shot of the Zelda "Life is Good" sign!:

I really like how the bottle color came out (I was kind of worried it wouldn't show up enough, but it's just perfect; a nice off-white). I love making signs! ♥

As for what's up next, I'm talking over a few more commissions coming up, and will update you guys as soon as I figure those projects out!

Also, I have a sprite stitch (http://www.spritestitch.com/) "contest" coming up, where we're all participating in a craft swap. I'll update you on that too, once I figure out what I'm stitching lol.

Hello everyone! I've finally completed the U.N. Squadron logo, and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it :D I was a bit worried with so many variations of yellow to red I had to use, but they blended pretty well.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to post the completed pic of the Pokemon screenshot. It came out well, and got me really wanting to make my own (just waaay too many Pokemon to choose from lol).

Hey again everyone! It's been a while again. I have been busy working on a commission for a fight screenshot from Pokemon! And here's a couple of the progress shots. I had to hand dye the fabric grey, as the customer wanted (I still don't get why they don't sell grey aida at stores! Such a basic color...)and I think it came out well. Wow! I'm really sorry for the long break!!! With the holidays, travel, a bit of camera problems, and me finishing up this piece, I haven't been online in forever. I finally finished the Marvel vs Capcom/Resident Evil piece for Garrett, and here it is!:

It's going to be featured on their Mega64 podcast (should be this Sunday, if the package gets there in time, lol), so keep an eye out for it on that! Thanks again Garrett!

As for other project news, things are pretty much back to normal. I got a commission request from a friend to do all 11 portraits from the Punch Out series, so I'm going to be spacing those out pretty much all this year along side my other projects, so look forward to that as well. I'm thinking I will go in order, so up first will be Glass Joe ♥

And on a side note, I have just ordered a custom green fabric for my Bad Dudes project (which for some reason the blog is not letting me upload the pic of right now, but I will update as soon as I start working on it).

Hey everyone! Short update. I'm working on yet another piece (as if I didn't have enough projects already, right? lol) and this time it's another Punch Out piece! It's Mike Tyson's portrait from the game. It's for my good friend Eric for Christmas, so I got a while to finish it at least :D Here's the progress so far!:

So far I have all the black line work done, and I have started on the blue background. I need to go to the store this weekend to pick up the correct colors for his skin and also some other colors for my other projects, then I'll be good to go! Gotta love that grill xD. I'll update again soon ♥

Hi everyone! Sorry for the super-long hiatus xD I have been very busy with my studies lately, so I haven't had much time to craft or be online. Bad combination! lol. So here's my unfortunately minimal progress on Garrett's Jill Valentine piece:

Also, I have started a DBZ project of about 25 small portraits of some of the characters! Here's the first completed, Raditz!:

The sprites I'm using are from the DBZ Super Gokuden series of video games. They were ripped by Son Goharotto for Sprite Database. There's a ton of other great looking sprites to choose from, and like I said I got about 25 or so in mind. I'm thinking of doing Dende or possibly even Bubbles next, lol. I'll hopefully be able to update soon!

Commission news and perler work ♥

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a long time since I have updated! I have been busy with a few projects. Last week I got in my shipment of perler beads for a few projects I wanted to make. I know it's not cross stitch, but I haven't perlered (is that a word? xD) since I was about 9, so I thought it would be fun. Here are a few of the projects I came up with!:

It's Ibuki from Street Fighter! This is based off of the sprite of her from the Card Fighter game. I'm almost done with her. I was unhappy with how the "darker" part of her skin was turning out, so I need to order a more appropriate color to finish her. I'll let you know when I'm done with her, and she's ironed :D

Here's a Mario 3 magnet I made of Mario in his statue form. I have always wanted to make this. I was so giddy when I could finally put it up on my fridge lol.

And last but not least, I made Splash Woman from Mega Man 9! I have always loved mermaids, so when I saw Splash Woman's design, I fell in love. I have already done a stitching of her portrait, and I plan on using her sprites some more in the future!

I have more perler projects completed and on the way, but I'll save those for another time ♥

As for commission news, I have been working for the past few days on a project for Garrett over at Mega64 ( http://www.mega64.com/ )! He's requested a stitching with Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil series, and he came up with this great design for me to stitch!:

Here's how much I have done so far:

Not much, but it's getting there! I hand dyed white 14 ct aida with Pearl Grey Rit dye, and I think the color came out well. It gave the fabric a cool "weathered" look to it that I think fits in nicely with the soon-to-be zombie motif lol. Check back in the next couple days for an update on that!

Updated Colossus, Finished Dr. Light, and a quick Totoro!

Hi everyone! I finished up Dr. Light last night, and here he is!:

I also updated my Shadow of the Colossus piece, and gave him the blue-ish colored eyes I was talking about earlier:

(I dunno how noticable it is in the photo, but in person I think it makes him stand out more) :)

And lastly, I did a quick stitch of Totoro last night, from the movie My Neighbor Totoro by Studio Ghibli. It is also Studio Ghibli's logo. I know it's not from a video game, but Totoro is one of my all time favorite characters, and I have been meaning to make this for a while. Hope you like it!:

Shadow of the Colossus completed!

Hi everyone! I have finally completed my Shadow of the Colossus piece! It took me a little over a full week to complete (sooo much filling in xD). I'm entering this into Sprite Stitches' silohuette contest. The deadline is October 17th, so I'll let you know the results after that! Also, after the contest, I'm probably going to fill in his eyes with a light blue color like the game. I just don't think I'd be able to for the contest (goes against "silohuette rules"? lol). I'll update you when I add that to it.

Up next I'm going to be finishing my pip-boy, Monster Party, and I'll also be starting Dr. Light (in the hologram capsule) from Mega Man X, at a friend's request!

Hi there! I have been sooo busy lately making more of my projects. I still need to finish Pip Boy because I saw a contest on Sprite Stitch ( http://www.spritestitch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1111 ) about making a project in only silhouette. Now, I have been holding off on doing this project idea for a while, but when I saw the contest, I knew what had to be done: Shadow of the Colossus!:

So the deadline is October 17th...I have until then to fill in allllll that black, lol. It's going to take a while, but wish me luck!

Also, after I finish this project (because it is time constrained) I will have up the completed Pip Boy and any other ideas that pop into my head in the meantime :D

Hi! Here's Zero completed, and also a shot of the two together. I'm thinking of putting a little border around them both since Zero has a lot of white on his edges, but I dunno...I like how Mega Man looks without one, so I'll hold off for now.

Mega Man X Portrait ♥

This is a verrrry small piece, only a little over 2" x 2"! It took me about 6 hours to do (I was distracted a lot lol), and is made up of about 5 different shades of blue alone...Needless to say, I'm pretty tired of blue right now!

Next up is Zero's portrait from the same series! Check back here in a couple days (if not tomorrow), because he should be pretty quick to do as well ♥

I have a really big (we're talking huge) project in mind for what I'll do after Zero, but I'm not sure if I'm going to hold off a bit on it yet or not. We'll see!

Start of Vault/Pip-Boy!

Hi there! It has been a pretty busy weekend for me, and I got started working on one of the Vault Boy designs from the Fallout series (one of my all time favorites!). Here he is so far. It's actually a pretty big piece, about 6" x 7", but is going relatively fast because it's only black and grey, and mostly outlines.

I am also working on Mega Man X and Zero portraits, so keep an eye out for them! (FYI MM is done, and will be posted above this...I'm starting on Zero today, so I should be finished with him by tomorrow!).

Soooo I'm finally done with everything except the sky (which is going to take foreeeeever, don't remind me!). This is the point where I may have to take a little break from this huge project and work on a couple other small ones. I'm going to be working on Mega Man and Zero portraits from the X series games next, and have also been asked to do Vault Boy from Fallout (one of my favorite games ever!), so that is probably what you're going to see next. Hey everyone! I was away for the holiday weekend, but I did get a chance to work on my Monster Party piece. Here's how it looks so far! Mark is done, and I only have to finish up Bert's wings for him to be complete. Then comes the awesomely looooooong process of filling up the sky (lots and lots of blue that will take me forever to stitch...). So, I will post when I get farther along :D

It's finally done! Sorry for the quality of the photo, but I had to take two separate scans and reconstruct the photo in Photoshop, so the result came out a little wonky...oh well.

I can start working on the main image now, and should have some of that progress up within the next couple of days! Wish me luck ♥

Here's my progress shot for Monster Party! I've only been working on the text and skulls for now, but I have a decent amount of that done. I really don't know how I'm going to take any more progress shots, because this piece is huge (like 15" x 16") and all I have right now is my small scanner lol. Hopefully I can get a decent digital camera soon :D

I started this last night on a whim, and finished her this morning! She came out alright. I was out of darker thread for her face shadowing, so it's not as varied as I'd like. Other than that I think it's fine. I can't believe I haven't done any other Mega Man characters yet! I need to fix that ;)
